PEACH-BD study: Request for participants


Parents' Experiences of Helping Their Anxious Children in the context of Bipolar Disorder.

We are researchers at the University of Oxford. We are conducting a study that focuses on understanding the needs of parents with bipolar disorder and trying to find the best ways to help them with parenting-related issues. If you are a parent with bipolar disorder or a caregiver of a child who has a parent with bipolar disorder, we would be delighted if you would be able to take part in an interview to share your parenting experience!


Our research purpose:

Understand the needs of families with bipolar disorder and explore new ways to help parents/carers help their children with anxiety


Our research criteria:

(1) You are a parent or caregiver of a child who is 5 years or over. (2) The child's biological parent was diagnosed with bipolar disorder before the child turned 12 years. (3) You are 18 years old or over and live in the UK.


Our research process:

(1) If you fit into our research criteria, please follow this link to read the Participant information sheet and complete the consent form and online survey. (2) We will arrange an interview (around 1-1.5 hours) via Microsoft Teams at a time that works for you (3) After the interview, you will be compensated a £20 voucher for your time
